We think the Bard would have been pleased. 4oo years since his death his words soared on the heaths of our Eastern Shore, to boisterous crowds of thanes, witches, and those with adventure in their hearts. This company of Players shared the same excitement living MacBeth as so many others over the years. We are a fresh new Company and this is our Play. Some in the cast are seasoned practiced actors. For others, this is their first taste of the stage. All fell under the spell of MacBeth. 24-Macbeth - 1of3.mp4 24-Macbeth - 2of3.mp4 24-Macbeth - 3of3.mp4
  • CHRIS ROGERS (1959 – 2020)
    Chris Rogers founded Shore Shakespeare
Company in 2012, together with his friend and
theatre colleague Avra Sullivan, with the aim of
    bringing free outdoor performances of
Shakespeare’s plays to audiences on the
Eastern Shore of Maryland. Chris felt strongly
that the issues Shakespeare explored four
hundred years ago were timeless and that a
committed group of actors could make his
plays understandable and relevant to modern
    audiences.
